wonderful! everyone did well today... we wanted the team prize? well we got it... 1st for girls and 2nd for boys although we guys wanted it to be 1st also la... we lost to 2/1 one guy... haha.. nvm anyway we are technically the overall champions la... well see? it feels great to work as a class doesnt it? i just hope we could all work together like this for the rest of the yr... and abt the class t-shirt, can u all like buy? its $28 i think... its a tee-shirt full of memories it will remind u of ur '07 yr just try to buy plz/// all i have to say...

Anyway, hope you all enjoyed the NYAA camp. It was okay for me la. Most challenging part was to get to the toilet first to bathe ASAP! I love the Belay School. Ugh didn't have a chance to try out rock climbing. Oh well.

Oh yeah. Class outing soon! Promise promise okay. Everybody should be able to make it uh, cause we will confirm the date soon. It'd be during the March holidays! Rejoice. :D

One-Two`o6 End of Year Class Outing
9th December 2006, East Coast Park

Meeting place: Clementi MRT (Outside EZ-Link barrier)
Meeting time: 10.00 am

Bring along an extra set of clothes. Do not bring unnecessary valuables to prevent theft. Have a heavy breakfast before meeting. Bring money for lunch.

Cause lots of people are asking me the details of the BBQ, when and where. There are changes.

Firstly, we are NOT having a BBQ or a chalet. We're just having fun at East Coast Park. This will cut down costs and time.

Secondly, the date of the class outing is NOT CONFIRMED yet. It's just an assumption that everyone will be free on that day. Dont worry, we will call each and everyone of you to confirm whether you will be free on that day or not. People who are overseas and will return after the 26th will miss out on the class outing, very sorry! But we will have more of these class outings when we're Secondary 2. (:

Thirdly, please meet OUTSIDE the EZ-Link barrier, after you tap your card. If you still have doubts, please ask.

Fourthly, if you're whining about the time we're gonna meet - 10.00am, that it's too early, please note that the travelling time from Clementi to East Coast Park is 1 and a half hours. My case is closed.

Fifth and last point, to keep yourself clean and dry after the water games, please bring another set of clothes. No one will be exempted from playing the water games just because you didnt being a set of clothes. EVERYONE will get wet, heh (:

Advantages in organising a CHALET:

More time to get together and have fun.
Memorable. (Somehow, one way or another.)

Disadvantages in organising a CHALET:

Expensive. (Paying for the chalet rental fee and food.)
Most of the classmates may not be able to stay overnight or go to the chalet days, and will miss out on some fun.
Troublesome (Lots of planning etc.)
Cliques will stay overnight together.

Advantages in organising a BBQ:

Cheap. (Just need to pay for the food and maybe rental use of BBQ pit.)
Not as troublesome as organising a chalet.
We can still have fun.

Disadvantages in organising a BBQ:

Some people may not make it.

Please tell Samuel(65608325/82094879) or Charmaine(92237306) about your choice, whether it is a CHALET, a BBQ or you are NEUTRAL, for the class' End-Of-Year outing ASAP. Or I will chop you up into pieces when you complain about our choice. Really.

All the best for the cross-country tomorrow! Remember to eat bananas and drink lotsa water tonight. If you cant compete for the top 30 positions, just complete the race! That's an accomplishment already. =)

Holidays are here. Isnt it really fast? It seemed like just yesterday when we got to know each other and memorise one another's names. But look at us now, we're teasing each other day by day and irritating each other as a class. Although we may offend one another at times, after a while, we'll laugh together and share things with one another. Because we're a class! =)

Some of us didnt do well for midyears, like myself.. Dont be disappointed! Its your first midyears, and you can still work hard for year ends. It's never too late.. Shall we work hard together as a class? If you all dont mind, I'll arrange group studies. If you want. =)

I was very upset with myself because of my maths marks, but I realised, if I start to work hard now, its not too late either. I met Mrs Neo coincidentally, and she smiled at me and said, "Xiang Ting arh, buck up arh!" That smile made me so motivated. =) Though at times we dont like Mrs Neo, but sometimes shes quite nice too. She's not that bad top to toe. If she were, she would be in jail. =X

I really had a great time today, after arranging the tables for Meet-the-Parent session. "Pepper drumlet meal!" All the chorusing with the wave.. I think today was the best day I had ever. =) Take care during the holidays! Dont work yourself out too much. Work hard, play hard. Meet up for outings okay! :D

CIP project

Hey people! :D

I dont know where YanQing got this fabulous skin, but thanks lots! I made some adjustments, and I hope everyone is pleased with this blog. If not, just tell either YanQing or myself. :)

As you know, we have an upcoming CIP project, and we are using the CSS bears for profit. The project will be somewhere during July. Everyone will be involved in this project, and therefore, everyone will have equal CIP hours. Your tasks will be distributed to you soon, and you will be informed of what you are supposed to do. These are some of the jobs:

-Wrapping of bears (In-charge: Pearlyn & myself)
-Advertising (In-charge: myself)
-Stall-tenders
-Bear decorations (In-charge: Pearlyn)
-Odd jobs (In-charge: He Chen)

For the stall-tenders, everyone will take turns to help out. Odd jobs include mostly carrying things and etc. Advertising compromises of going to classes one-by-one and advertise. This will be done probably during PC.

Everyone has to contribute, to be fair. Remember that this is a class collaborated effort. Please tell either HeChen, Nicol, Pearlyn or myself which of the jobs listed above you wish to help out on, by 23rd May, Tuesday. Thanks! :D
